This cabinet has 2 drawers with brass hardware and 1 "hidden" drawer in the top moulding section. Lots of storage.

Custom Order - Black Desk with Rope Moulding

We LOVE the way this desk turned out. There's so much character and charm. It did take a whole lot of work to get it to look this good though!

 

We the top drawer was originally a keyboard drawer and we needed to make a new drawer box for it. There was also loads of peeling veneer on the top and because the client wanted a stained top and we wanted to show off the rope moulding we ended up removing the old top, cutting out a new piece of cherry and reapplying the moulding. It works PERFECT and looks totally original. We left the hardware alone because the patina was great and went with the dark paint and stain. This piece is a transformation that we are super proud of and hope its enjoyed for many more years!

This lovely vintage dresser has been completely refinished with soft yellow milk paint, lightly distressed and then sealed wax. The top has been left to show off the natural wood and then sealed with 2 coats of durable poly.
